Our client is a tier one company that manufactures products and provides services to oil and gas and defense customers. This ASX listed multi award winning company is located in Henderson in a world class modern complex. A large project has commenced, creating opportunities for Process Workers to join the team and assist with the production process. The start date is immediate. These roles work a minimum of 38 hours per week , on both Day and/or Afternoon shifts. We prefer flexible candidates who are willing to work on either shift. The working week is Monday to Friday. Dayshift hours are 6am to 2pm; Afternoon Shift - 8 hour shift commencing from 2PM. Remuneration on offer is $34.43/hr (day shift) and $39.60/hr (afternoon shift) with overtime rates paid after 7.5 hours. Pay is weekly. Duties involve a wide range of tasks in the manufacturing of modules (large plastic buoys, used in maritime & defense applications), using basic hand or power tools and require you to be fit and able to do repetitive manual tasks. There are several sections in the complex and you will be assigned to a section where duties range from painting, sanding, bogging, machine operating, using a range of hand and power tools, operating machinery, assembly work - a lot of various tasks to do. Working conditions are excellent and it's a pleasant, modern and safe work environment. There will be opportunities to gain full time permanent employment with the client for solid performers. You will need to fulfill the following criteria to be considered: Able to start immediately Fit and able to do physically demanding work Experience using hand or power tools or machinery (basic painting, carpentry or handyman skills are ideal) Reliable and able to work every day Own transport and a drivers license preferred as there is limited public transport Experience in any sort of process, production or manufacturing work and working to achieve targets advantageous. Able to read & follow written and verbal instructions and procedures Able to communicate effectively with other team members Able to complete all tasks without Supervision A safety-minded approach to work Due to project requirements, these roles are open to Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents only.
